Sarah Ann Ellis has practiced with Wright Gregg & Proctor, P.A., in Ridgeland, Mississippi since 2012. Her practice is devoted to the representation of clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, pre-nuptial agreements, alimony, paternity, and adoption. Sarah Ann has also served as a Guardian ad litem in Mississippi Chancery Courts.
Sarah Ann was admitted to practice law in Mississippi in 2010. She is currently a member of Jackson Young Lawyers and the Family Law Section of the Mississippi bar. Sarah Ann has practiced law in Mississippi Chancery Courts, Circuit Courts, Youth Courts, and Federal Courts.
Sarah Ann grew up in Savannah, Tennessee. In 2007, Sarah Ann graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she earned degrees in English and Political Science. During her undergraduate years, Sarah Ann was a member of various school and social organizations and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Liberal Arts Honorary.
In 2010, Sarah Ann received her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, Sarah Ann participated in the Child Advocacy Civil Legal Clinic, Public Interest Law Association, and Women’s Law Association. She clerked in the Medicaid Fraud Division of the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office and attended the International Law Study Abroad Program at Downing College in Cambridge, England.
Sarah Ann was named a Mid-South Rising Star in Family Law by Mid-South SuperLawyers in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
Sarah Ann and her husband, David Ellis, live in Madison and are involved at Madison United Methodist Church. They have two children: Adeline (3) and Isaac (1).
